Hello My baby is 4 months... of late his anus has turned reddish... Someone suggested to apply ghee as a home remedy but still there is no difference. Please help... Thanks!

Hi Shruti, Exactly same issue i had with my child. I applied the ointment by name surfaz cream. Apply this twice or thrice a day. It worked for me atleast. Also, after wash dont leave the anus wet. Make it complete dry with cloth. In my kid's case the anus turned red due to the allergy with milk. Applying this ointment really helped me.

Hey please understand that rashes to that area are very painful to your baby, immediately go to doctor. There are ointments that I can suggest but good if you check with your doctor. It could be bacterial or some reaction. Don't apply ghee or coconut oil.
