Two injections for protection against tetanus (tetanus toxoid) are given 1 month apart , generally at 16 weeks and at 20 weeks. A flu shot can be given anytime during pregnancy for protection against influenza. A vaccine for protection against Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis , or TDaP is also highly recommended and is given between 28 and 36 weeks. Take these vaccines under guidance of your doctor .
