You should take a high fibre diet as well as take plenty of oral fluids to avoid constipation. Include lots of fruits and vegetables, leafy greens, whole grains and sprouts etc. Avoid processed foods and flours such as maida and white bread, outside cooked food, spicy , fried and stale food, oily and heavy food. Eat small frequent meals and take an early breakfast. Consult your doctor for a checkup and prescription of appropriate medicines to control acidity and also a mild laxative if required.
