Some tips to follow during pregnancy are: Take a healthy balanced diet as the demand for calories and nutrients is high. Include whole grains and sprouts, plenty of nuts and seeds, dals, beans, black grams, jaggery, fruits, vegetables and leafy greens, eggs, red meat , fish , soya , milk and dairy products. Sleep and rest adequately , avoid heavy work and picking weights. Speak to your doctor for prescription of appropriate supplements and also getting tests and ultrasounds. Avoid physical relationship in first 3 months of pregnancy, avoid coffee and fizzy drinks, alcohol , smoking and too much tea. Do not eat outside food. These days , it is most important to stay indoors and not venture out unless essential. Follow your doctor's advice. All the best.
