Answer:
Autism is a developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. Autism spectrum disorder impacts the nervous system and affects the overall cognitive, emotional, social and physical health of the affected individual. It can’t be cured but autistic children can be trained to manage themselves depending on the spectrum they are. A clinical psychologist will be able to assess. Because autism is a spectrum disorder, each person with autism has a distinct set of strengths and challenges. The ways in which people with autism learn, think and problem-solve can range from highly skilled to severely challenged. Some people with ASD may require significant support in their daily lives, while others may need less support and, in some cases, live entirely independently. Some infants show hints in their first months. In others, behaviors become obvious as late as age 2 or 3. Limited or no eye contact Prefer to be alone Do not express emotions Limited speech Prone to tantrums Difficulty in social interaction Cannot understand humour or sarcasm Children with autism are hypersensitive to usually one or more of these -light, sound, touch, taste and smell. Autistic children In the milder range or having Aspergers can be very good in particular subjects like science , math, music etc They would need occupational therapy , incentive system to be trained to cope with daily life.
