Stress affects all aspects of a pregnancy negatively. It can cause increased chances of abortion, preterm labour and having a low birth weight baby. A stressed out mother is more likely to have post partum depression, failure of lactation and delayed healing. Stress can also aggravate blood pressure and diabetes. It can make labour difficult for mothers.
