At this age babies are introduced to new foods. So best is to give only 1-2 solid feeds and only 1-2 tablespoon in each feed. Offer 5-6 milk feeds (150-175ml per feed) Continue with breast milk, do not stop or reduce it. As baby grows older you can give more amounts in each solid feed. Start with single foods, like pureed apple or rice cereal and when baby is well adjusted to it, you can offer other foods like, pureed carrot, sweet potato and mashed banana. Slowly you can move to ragi porridge, rava kheer, mashed dal, etc. Make sure you do not add spices or sugar to any of these foods. Also at this age, milk still remains the main feed hence do not reduce or replace with milk feeds.
