hello doctor how to deal with pacifier habits.. shivranjani 2yr3month. he has pacifier habits. how to deal with this please suggest

I understand your concern. Like thumbsucking, using a pacifier is addictive. Usually children use either when they are bored, hungry, tired, anxious and unwell.
Do observe and see when she does it so that you can replace the habit gradually.
Coat the pacifier with bitter gourd juice. Make it difficult to use it. Maybe use a taping or keep it far out of reach.
For few days she will cry. Then she will get used.
Yes you have to be very patient and calm when she is throwing an angry tantrum. Just ignore and walk away.
You just have to be firm and patient while dealing with this. There will be angry screaming. Don’t feel embarrassed.
Her teeth alignement will go awry if you continue to use. Show a video where she will have to wear braces. It may create a dislike.
Now she is big enough to understand. Also she cannot use once school begins.
Hence remove all pacifiers from the house. Then there is no way you will be tempted to give it to her.
