Hello , I am 31 weeks pregnant living with my husband. What things should i start arranging for the most awaited day. As my parents will come near my due date. Also, here every one telling me to start taking ghee alongwith milk and dry fruit laddoo (except gond) on daily basis. Shall i take it or not. I am puzzled. M concerned about My weight which has increased by 7 kgs only and as per my doctor baby growth is fine. Shiuld i take it seriously or not.

Hi Richa, you can start with basic things like arranging a cot, bedding, nappies, clothes, both cotton & woolen, your own lactating gowns, baby products etc. You can take a list from your gynaecologist. You can take milk, dry fruits, but avoid ghee as it would cause unnecessary weight gain. The weight gain of foetus is maximum in last 2 months.
