hello mam! In our house we talk in our local language called" Maithli"... i used to talk to my child in the same... but since its a tough language my son finds difficulty in speaking ...should i switch to hindi language now or continue the same.. since hindi is also compulory for his schools... and in his friend groups.. i didn't thought it before.

You could continue in mother tongue if you want your child to know the mother tongue. However tough it is he will pick it up gradually. You can switch to Hindi later if needed to help.
