Hello. My daughter will turn 5months old this Tuesday. She has been a social baby for this long but now somehow doesnt seem to go anyone even her dad. also madam doesnt seem to want to feed for more than 3 mins at a time and prefers frequent feeding. I didn't face these with my first born so all I am asking is.. is this normal? or am I over reacting? i tried expressing milk and feeding her.. nope.. didn't work..

Answer:
Yes its quite normal, Its too early to say that baby is more social or less social. Slowly baby will come back to being sociable. Any change in baby's environment or suddenly seeing too many people or loud sound etc can make baby feel bit insecure. Regarding milk feeds, infact small frequent feeds are always better than giving feeds after long intervals. This helps in healthy growth of the baby. All babies are different and have different behaviour, different timings of achieving developmental milestones and also different likes and dislikes. So do not worry, all will be fine.
