Hello, my son is now studying in nursery. His annual day in 1st week of February. In school, dance practice was going from December... According to teacher my son was doing dance good with group but bcoz of his illness he took 4-5days off to school.. After that he is not standing for dance in group. So teacher told me that bcoz of his gaps he is not standing n shifted he in other group i. e those students are weak in dance. I told my son to do dance but he always saying that he don't want to dance. We will feel bad if he will dance not in annual day while other students are dancing. So how can I encourage my son for dance.

Answer:
It is a normal situation. It is because of his illness he lost the chance this year. He is only in lkg. He has years ahead of him. Also he does not want to dance or take part now. So be supportive of his decision. As a parent you may feel bad but he may not have such strong feelings.
So think from his perspective. The Teachers are also helpless as they have to go as per school rules. So being respectful of their decision will help your son to be respectful to teachers and the school.
Encourage him to participate than being the main.
