Hello,my son is 3. 5 years old his weight is 11. 5kg n height is 34inch(86cm),i feed him everything gd for him,but e dont eat spicy foods at all , e doesnt love to eat much. E doesnt even eat choclates,biscuits,fruit juices. plz suggest me something. I av even visited to our doc but e says e is healthy dont worry. Am not at all satisfied. And after every 15 days e gets cold.

the weight is on the lower side. It is okay if the child is not fond of junk food or spicy food. You may gradually introduce spices but may avoid hot spices like green and red chilies etc. Few suggestions to help in his weight gain and immunity are Use whole milk and its products like curd, paneer, cheese, buttermilk etc. You may give these as fruit shakes/ fruit lassi. Cheese or paneer can be cut into small bite sized cubes, so that they can use their fingers to eat these. Alternatively paneer/cheese can be added to their roti/sandwich/dosa/uttapam etc. Increase intake of dals/legumes, eggs (hard boiled cut into small bite sized pieces or omlette etc.) poultry/fish (curry, snacks, cutlets, tikka, in rice or in soup). Give more of fruits like mango, banana, cheeku,litchi, grapes, dates, citrus fruits, guava, strawberries etc. Give more of potato, sweet potato, colocassia, yam besides other vegetables like green leafy vegetables. Nuts like walnuts, almonds, peanuts and dried fruits like raisins, currants, dried apricots.
