Hi, fetal heart rate 174 bpm is normal in w29d3 scan? Secondly, i was told to hv breach presentation at w20 scan but now it says cephalic presentation and low lying placenta.

This heartbeat may be normal, however the ultrasound needs to be evaluated completely, so consult your gynaecologist regarding this. A breech baby may turn around and becomes cephalic, it's normal. A low lying placenta carries a risk of bleeding during pregnancy and childbirth, but it moves up on its own over time as the pregnancy advances in many ladies. Precaution for a low lying placenta are : to avoid heavy work, picking weights, bending forward, avoid travelling and intercourse
