Hi! how can I shift her from breastfeeding to formula milk? She is taking feed from bottle only when she is sleeping that too in the daytime.

it is recommended to only breastfeed your baby till 6 months of age. if you are lactating sufficiently to meet your child's need, you may not start with any top feed. Otherwise, if there is need to give top feed,you can gradually start with top feed. Start by replacing one of your feeds with top feed. You can start with a lesser amount of 50 ml or so and then gradually increase the amounts according to child's acceptance. Use sterilised spoon and katori/bowl instead of bottle. This is because bottle feeding can cause nipple confusion. It also poses hygiene issues.
