Hi. I am 24 weeks pregnant. I am being advised by a lot of people to have rasgulla during pregnancy. I personally am not very fond of it as I find it too sweet. Does the sugar intake have to go up during pregnancy? Kindly advise.

Answer:
not at all. In pregnancy you need to eat balanced diet as healthy growth of foetus is depending on it. Eat cereals, dals, whole beans, curd, paneer, cheese, plenty of fruits, vegetables especially green leafy. Take sufficient fluids.
