But in 7th standard he was suffered with a rare spinal problem. There is pus in 4th and 5th rid of his spine. And that pus was removed and he is ok right now. During that treatment, Dr advice him for 3 months bed rest. After that his weight increased and he is over weight till now. Because of over weight he is feeling very lazy and he has no interest in studies. Some days before there is sudden change in his behaviour. Sometimes he is getting angry and lies his parents. I know some where something is wrong with him. Before 7th standard he was very obedient and good in behaviour. I am very sad because of his behaviour right now. In his tution, there is some children those are not good in character. So I was stopped his tution for bad friendship. Now a days he is not listen or following a single word of his parents. I am unable to understand his problem. Always I spent quality times with him. Right now I am confused, how can I handle him . I am helpless. Please help me.

your son has just entered his teens known as puberty. This is a stage when a child is transforming into adult as sexual maturity starts. So they are confused about themselves. This is a common phenomenon of this age group and a lot of behavioral problems arise. Children because of changes happening in their body want to be treated as adults, like their friends more and are often treated as children by adults. Hence they have rebellious behaviour, that is they don't listen to their parents and like their friends more. So treat him with patience and little more like adult than child. Do take advice of child counsellor/paediatrician on this. Hope this helps.
