hi.. m a parent of 5 yr old child.. he is an active n naughty child.... n bcoz of his naughtyness many times in a day i scold him. bt now a days he is reacting or showing his anger in ni8 sleep... i mean it feels like he has a nightmare of mine(mom) dat m scolding or hitting him n he is hitting me back in dat nightmare.... in this week its a third time he behaved like dat ... he hits people arround him in ni8.... n today he hitted me, wen i asked him he told me dat he was hitting me.... it happend 2 times bt i ignored it bcoz he behaves good i day time. but m really scared why he is behaving like this in midnight. m i bad parent or m i doing a wrong parenting. i really dont know how to handle this situation. plz help

Your scolding is stressing him henc ether nightmare. Please remember that aggression breeds aggression. Instead if you remained calm and dealt with him calmly he would learn that from you. Children do as we do. His young mind is traumatised. So now you have to convince him. Change the way you deal with him. Make him understand with love and patience. Use stories to explain good behaviour. He is just five. He has to be guided about the expected behaviour. As a child he will be naughty. He is expressing himself. So explain to him.
