hi ma m/sir my son is16 years and couldn't share any of his problem with us .so please give me sujetionseducation Corner
If you expect a teenager to share his world with you, it will not happen. This is a phase where friends and music and other stuff will take predominance. Step aside. Be supportive and appreciative. Nagging and scolding will have the opposite effect. Be like a friend. Use humour to draw him out. Be objective and keep a neutral tone. have a weekend ritual of taking him out on walks or car rides. Teen boys prefer not to talk eye to eye. Listen to him. Understand his world his likes and dislikes. Gradually he will open up. When he speaks of issues ask him if he would come to a counsellor for help. Unless he wants help he cannot be helped.
