Any food that is home made is always the best for the baby. Wait for another month before you introduce your daughter to liquid top feed first of dal ka paani. You may take dhuli moong dal for this, as it is lighter on stomach and hence easily digested by babies. Gradually graduating to rice ka paani. When you feel that your daughter is able to swallow you give her dhuli moong dal with thin consistency so that your daughter is able to swallow it. Ensure that there are no lumps in the dal, as that can get stuck in her throat. Once the baby is used to that you may add rice to it and make a thin consistency khichdi or cook rice separately ensuring that they are easily mashed with spoon. Other semi solid food that you can introduce includes sooji ki kheer, daliya. Hope this answers your question.
