hi ,my daughter age 2. 8yrs and weight is 11kg. she is bit hyper active. is not sleeping well. she doesn't have day time nap. if she take nap at day then not sleeping at night . will you please share some ideas to make her sleep? I am concern about her weight too..

encourage her to play more so that she is tired and don't let her sleep at daytime. Few dietary suggestions for weight gain are Use whole milk and its products like curd, paneer, cheese, buttermilk etc. You may give these as fruit shakes/ fruit lassi. Cheese or paneer can be cut into small bite sized cubes, so that they can use their fingers to eat these. Alternatively paneer/cheese can be added to their roti/sandwich/dosa/uttapam etc. Increase intake of dals/legumes, eggs (hard boiled cut into small bite sized pieces or omlette etc.) poultry/fish (curry, snacks, cutlets, tikka, in rice or in soup). Give more of fruits like mango, banana, cheeku,litchi, grapes, dates. These may be added to their milkshakes as well. Give more of potato, sweet potato, colocassia, yam besides other vegetables. You may add these to their roti/sandwich. Nuts like walnuts, almonds, peanuts and dried fruits like raisins, currants, dried apricots.
