hi my daughter is 10 months old and she got urine infection doc gave us antibiotic and it was cured but now again she got urine infection can I know what are the reasons for urine infection and is there any danger due to repeated urine infection.

there can be few reasons for relapse : was the antibiotics taken for regularly and not missed , a total duration of 7 to 10 days if less than also it can relapse . You may get a urine culture done before starting antibiotic to know the antibiotic sensitivity pattern and than treat accordingly .Also i shall suggest that you consult your Pediatrician for further investigation like ultrasound to rule out any other preexisting or congenital cause for the recurrent infections.
