Hi, my daughter will be 7 months in a weeks time. Have few questions : 1. Can you please suggest the options of top feed? 2. Also my daughter is not able to sleep in night.... Actually I use to wrap her till last week. Now I want to leave her habit of being wrapped. Could that be the reason that she is not able to sleep? Also usually how many days they take to get adjust to any changes? 3. How long night feeding should be continued?nutrition Corner
, if there is need to give top feed, you can gradually start with top feed. Start by replacing one of your feeds with top feed. You can start with a lesser amount of 50 ml or so and then gradually increase the amounts according to child's acceptance. Formula milk is made of animal milk only and has added nutrients to match it most closely with breast milk. Some prefer fresh animal milk (not cow's) over formula milk. Packet milk is pasteurised animal milk only which is more hygienically packed and hence safer. You can also read the following blog to help you decide on the type of milk https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/all-you-wanted-to-know-about-the-milk-intake-of-your-child/619 Generally by this age milk feed may be given at sleep time and then after 5-6 hours of sleep. It can be earlier if the baby demands it. You should also give her three solid feeds, during the day. For her sleep and adjustments, please take advice of your paediatrician.
