Hi. My son is 1 month old. He is completely on breastfeeding. He is passing urine and motions as normal. However, in the evening and night he keeps crying and stops only when I start nursing him. Though his stomach is full he keeps asking for feeds. I am unable to understand how to keep him calm and at the same time avoid overfeeding.

Answer:
for such a small baby, breastfeeding is not just food, but it also provides emotional comfort and security. So if the baby wants to be breastfed, do so on his demand. Try feeding on both sides for 10 minutes each, so that the feeding is sufficient. Hope this helps.
