Children in this age group prefer finger foods more than the mushy foods. Few suggestions are Keep a gap between milk feed and solid feed, ideally 2_3 hrs. This would help in acceptance of food by the child because of hunger. Include slices of fruits, sticks of cucumber, carrot ( little steamed). Cereals in the form veggie cutlets, dhokla, idli, small rolled parantha can be given. Bite sized pieces of cheese, paneer can also be given. You need to give variety and see what child likes more. Include those in his diet. Hope it helps
