Hi my son is 2years 2months now... He is not interested in playing at a park, I tried to make him slide and swing while making exciting noises to amuse him... but he just doesn't show any interest and cries a lot. Is he afraid of outdoor parks???? He is fine at home though. He plays with my elder daughter like throwing and catching the ball, kicking it. He loves to play with cars and can be engaged with cars for a good amount of time. Also he loves staring at vehicles on the road while pointing on each of them and naming them cars or trucks... I am getting worried on his behaviour with parks. can you help???

Answer:
Don’t worry. He has expressed his likes and dislikes very well. Some children do not fancy outdoors or may like outdoors a little later in life. It is alright. Encourage him in areas he likes. Each child has his or her own uniques interests. Go with the flow. All the best.
