Answer:
you need to avoid all wheat product including chapatti, parantha, bread, biscuits, cakes, naan, pasta, noodles, pizza etc. So also have to avoid suji, oats, barley, maida. But you can give the following foods for weight gain You can give rice, potato flour, soy flour, pure corn etc. All fruits, vegetables, nuts, dried fruits, egg, fish, poultry can be given. Increase intake of dals/legumes ( either mashed, in soup or as khichdi, eggs (as nogs or in soups), scrambled egg, poultry/fish (cooked &minced or soup) Give more of fruits like mango, banana, cheeku,litchi, grapes, dates. Potato, sweet potato, colocassia, yam, besides other vegetables. Nuts like walnuts, almonds, peanuts finely powdered. Well mashed dried fruits like raisins, dates, currants, apricots etc. Please take advice of a clinical dietitian in person for this.
