Hi my son is 3yrs 3 months old, can u please suggest a healthy food chart for him. And am very worried about his height, as me and my husband both are on the shorter side. So what food habits should include to increase his height?

Answer:
though height is largely influenced by our genes, you may give a high calcium and protein diet to help. Give milk and its products like curd, paneer, cheese, buttermilk etc. You may give these as fruit shakes/ fruit lassi. Cheese or paneer can be cut into small bite sized cubes, so that they can use their fingers to eat these. Alternatively paneer/cheese can be added to their roti/sandwich/dosa/uttapam etc. Increase intake of dals/legumes, eggs (hard boiled cut into small bite sized pieces or omlette etc.) poultry/fish (curry, snacks, cutlets, tikka, in rice or in soup). You should encourage the child to play games like badminton, lawn tennis, basket ball, skipping etc.
