Hi, my younger one has turned 4 and I feel his height and weight are not upto mark. And his intake of food is fine. His usual routine is as below: 8:00 p. m Milk 10/10:30 breakfast like Idly, dosakaya, upma 12:30 lunch - rice with dal, curd I give all vegetables usually 4:00 milk and banana / sometimes biscuits 7:30/8:00 dinner Could you please let me know what else I can add up.. A child's weight & height are influenced by his food intake, activity level , hereditary factors etc. Few suggestions for healthy weight gain. Increase intake of milk, curd, cheese, paneer, soybean, dals, beans in the diet. If non vegetarian then give eggs, fish & chicken. Also see that the child is taking enough cereals & fats. Include fruits like banana, mango, cheeku, grapes & dried fruits in daily diet. Hope it helps
