Hii At the second month of pregnancy my fasting sugar as well as after glucose intake the level is controlled . Everything is normal. But in the 7 month again sugar test is done .My fasting sugar is 86 and after glucose intake one litre and test after one hour it should be 168 and after 2 hour it should be 161. Doctor says that it should be higher. please suggest me how to reduce gestinal diabetes and what will be the risk of baby and complications in my delivery. also suggest the fruits that reduce gestinal diabetes.

I hope you are well. Gestational diabetes is diabetes that happens during pregnancy due to certain hormones. However, if you keep your weight in check and eat healthily, then the levels would be in control automatically. Eat these foods on regular basic- oats, daily, barley, ragi, yogurt, nuts, and seeds, fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meat, and eggs. -Drink enough water. - Stay active as much as you can - Avoid outside, processed or refined foods. - Avoid taking stress There are no specific fruits that reduce gestational diabetes, however, consuming all the fruits and vegetables can lower your blood sugar levels. Stick to seasonal fruits like Apple, pear, pomegranate, plum, and cherries. It won't affect your baby if you eat healthily and keep your blood sugar levels under control :) Don't worry, everything's going to be fine.
