Loose Motions

Loose motions or Diarrhea is a condition when your child passes 5-6 watery stool with no lump in it and also shows the symptoms of dehydration, fever, and vomiting.

Loose motion or diarrhea among toddlers is seen because of Infection from viruses like rotavirus, bacteria like salmonella and rarely parasites like giardia. Food poisoning can also cause diarrhea or loose motions in the child.

Dehydration is one of the most worrisome complications of diarrhea in children.

In this case, it is advised to check with your doctor. To increase your child's fluid intake-give ORS, strained juice and coconut water.
