to avoid constipation both fluid and fiber intake has to be increased. For that Take more water. You can also include coconut water, buttermilk, juices, soups etc., to increase the fluid intake Take dals with husk /beans/legumes. Include dalia, oats, ragi, rice falkes. These whole cereals can be used for chapatti, uttapam, upma or idlis too. Take plenty of fruits & vegetables. Avoid giving refined cereals/ maida products.
