hii.. my son is 1yr 6month old... i want to stop breast feeding.. he only takes it only whenever he sleeps.. he takes at afternoon when he sleep.. but at night when sleep after taking my milk... he wakes up many times.. sometimes after 2hrs somtimes after half n hour.... n now i hav less milk... n he didnt take formula or other milk.. n i want to stop breastfeeding.. what can i do... how to stop???.. because i havnt sufficient milk..

Answer:
ideally a baby can be breastfed as long as you can and minimum for 2 years. However if you wish to wean off, then keep the baby well fed through other milk and complementary solid feeds. You can also discourage the child by, using bitter edible things like neem/karela juice. It will take some before the baby is completely weaned off. Also ask any other family member/husband to put the baby to sleep. Hope this helps.
