Apart from iron supplements prescribed by your paediatrician, you may include following foods to boost iron intake Green leafy vegetable soup, bajra (in chapatti and khichdi/porridge form), broken wheat porridge. Give eggs, and if non vegetarian habits then some liver part, chicken, mutton etc in soup/stew form. Use jaggery/dates instead of sugar. Do give some fruits like citrus, strawberry, watermelon, raisins. Black chana, lobia, lentils etc Hope this helps.
