hlo mam yesterday I went to a dental Dr for my husband treatment... he was so in rush.. he even didn't talk to me about my hubby case.. he suddenly did an x-ray of my hubby teeth with in a min. I was there in that room only at a small distance. I want to ask is dental x-ray affects or harm my pregnancy or foetus???or there is no effect of dental x-ray in pregnancy?

Answer:
A single ultrasound generally does not pose a problem for the developing child. Only when one is exposed to many x rays, then the harm will happen. You should visit your doctor for a checkup and ultrasound to make sure everything is fine.
