Yes, oats is a healthy cereal, which can be consumed by children also. You can include all types of seasonal fruits and vegetables in your child's diet. You should include dalia, bajra, whole wheat, rice, ragi, different pulses, vegetables fruits, egg/fish/poultry, nuts and dried fruits, milk products etc. in the diet. These can be given as porridge, kheer, upma, khichri, chapatti/rice with pulses/gravies, scrambled eggs, custards, vegetable poha, idli, pulao, dosa, pasta, cheela, cutlets, pancakes etc.
