Firstly consult your doctor regularly for a checkup and assessment to monitor your and the baby's well being and for prescription of appropriate medication and supplements. Take a healthy balanced diet by including plenty of fruits, vegetables and leafy greens, whole grains and sprouts, dal, eggs, meat , fish, and dairy products, beans ,seeds and nuts etc. Take an early breakfast and don't skip meals. Avoid coffee, tea,outside food, spicy and oily or fried food, sweets, foods loaded with sugars, processed snacks. Drink plenty of water. Sleep and rest adequately. Do some walking or pregnancy yoga regularly with your doctor's prior approval. Engage yourself in pleasurable activities and hobbies to keep you happy and busy. These may include painting , reading, playing and talking to your older child, decorating a nursery etc. You can also practice meditation. A healthy and happy mother gives birth to a healthy baby.
