I am 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I am living in a high hilly area. I have to travel about 60 kms from my home to hospital for checkup scanning. Last day after travelling for check up and scanning, I came back home. but I vomited after reaching home (it's the first time I vomited after getting pregnant). Now, I am suffering from severe headache. What should I do ? Do I take some medicines ?

We can't prescribe medications here without knowing anything about your pregnancy and medical history. You can do an online or audio consultation with your doctor since the hospital is far away from your place. Vomiting and headache can be relieved during pregnancy with medications that are safe . Some tips for you are: eat small frequent meals and take a bland home cooked diet, avoid spicy , fried ,heavy and stale food, Try to sleep in a dark and quiet room. Drink plenty of fluids, avoid stress and heavy work, using too much television, phone or electronic media. Take an early breakfast and don't skip your meals. These tips will help with headache and vomiting.
