I am working mother .I leave my twin daughters of 3 years at 12. 30 and meet back at 8. 30 I am worried about the poor diet of child. They even don't finish their lunch box. They don't have good immunity as well. please suggest some goods things I can prepare which are healthy as well as can be ate when I am not around. I feel low bonding with them too. how can I keep it the best.

Hope you are doing well. Here is a diet for them. Breakfast- 1 Cup milk + 1 mini sandwich/2 small chilla/1 Bowl veggie oats/1 Beetroot or carrot paratha Mid-morning- 1 Fruit + 1 Tsp peanut butter Lunch- 1 Roti with sabzi or Dal chawala,khichdi and kadhi,Fried rice ,vegetable pulav/biryani Snack- 1 Fruit/1 Glass milkshake/Paneer tikki/home-made bread pizza Dinner- Same as lunch OR 1 Dosa/uttapam/2 idlis/pasta with veggies/wheat noodles with veggies/vegetable daliya Bed-time- 1 Cup milk with nuts powder (almonds,walnuts,pistas,cashew roast and powder) Since you are a working mother ,you hardly get time to spend with them on weekdays. Try and make up for it on weekends. Take them out along with you,cook the food they like,play with them and avoid using your phone or laptop much on those days. Even when they go off to sleep,may be sing them a song or say a poetry or may be a story which shall make them feel good. Always go for positive parenting. Don't shout at them,be calm and composed. Try to make them understand and never use the word NO in front of them,since it would create a negative impact.Try to explain it to them in a way which is good for you as well as them :) Hope this helps.
