I have 2 months old baby, since my breast milk production is low, I do formula feeding. But whenever possible I let him suck for breast milk and he gets at the most 1 Oz of breast milk per sucking. He is 99% on formula feeding. Is it OK for the baby to combine breastfeeding and formula feeding?

Answer:
if you are lactating sufficiently to meet your child's need, you may not start with any top feed. Otherwise, if there is need to give top feed, you can give top feed.
