I have a baby boy of One and a half month I am not able to generate enough milk and even I have not breast feed my baby from more then a week is it possible now to feed him as he is use to powdered milk. kindly advise

Here are the foods you can add to the diet to increase breast milk. -Whole grains -Garlic -Green leafy veggies -Ginger -Fenugreek seeds or methi -Nuts and seeds -Oats -Barley -Fennel seeds (Saunf) -Cumin seeds -Star anise seeds (badiyan ka phool) -Sesame seeds -Turmeric -Drumsticks -Carrots -Black sesame seeds -Salmon fish -Sweet potato -basil or tulsi Please refer this blog as well :) https://www.parentune.com/parent-blog/9-tips-to-increase-breast-milk-supply-in-lactating-moms/812 You need to both relax and take care of diet to help in lactation. Here are a few suggestions- -Take a balanced diet of cereals (esp dalia, bajra), green leafy vegetables (esp methi, mustard leaves), dals & legumes (masoor. black channa, soybean), fruits, milk products, eggs fish & poultry. - Add in almonds, cashew, walnuts, sesame seeds, flaxseeds, dates, raisins, cumin seeds, methi seeds, ajwain, dried ginger, gaund, jaggery etc. - You should also take ample fluids in the form of lukewarm water, zeera water, sattu Buttermilk soups, buttermilk, milk, lemon water, kokum sherbet etc. Hope this helps :) Take Care
