I was going through the write up of symptoms dyslexia in kids... and unfortunately I find that my son a kindergarten student has many symptoms in common... like he cannot relate phonics with letters n hence finds difficulty in reading. often forget simple spellings. Apart from this he is extremely restless. Making him sir to study is s huge task for me. He talks negative, he keeps on saying I'm a bad boy... it's difficult to become a good boy... To some extent I am to be be blamed as I use such words when I'm angry. But I am really worried for his studies n far more for his behaviour. He is becoming stubborn, doesn't listen at all. please help and advice.education Corner
It would be wiser to consult a clinical psychologist or a special educator for professional assessment before you label your child. Children do as we do hence we need to be cautious about our behaviour. His stubbornness could be due to the difficulties he is experiencing.
