This is a low lying placenta. It can cause bleeding during pregnancy, however, in many women , it gradually moves up on its own as the pregnancy advances. You should avoid intercourse, heavy work, prolonged standing, picking up weights, bending forward, squatting, sitting on floor , straining and travelling. Do not start walking without your doctor's advice. Take your doctor's prior approval , remain in regular care of your doctor for appropriate advice, tests and medication.
