In one of the blogs of parentune I have read that puberty in girls can be avoided at an early stage but its not written how. Should I consult a gynecologist for my daughter as her growth is little faster than others? Also, I fear about the high menstrual cramps which she might carry from me genetically as I carried the same from my mother. Please provide your valuable feedback in this regard.

Presently, the age of menarche has been between 9-11years. With a balanced diet and adequate protein, calcium, supplements and lifestyle measures cramps can be reduced but yes, as you pointed out correctly, genetically mother's cycle has somewhat impact on daughter's too. Age of menarche arrives based on various factors, genetic, personal health, obesity, any disease, environmental exposure, mental exposure etc. So, its better to start giving your daughter slight ideas about mensus.
