Is it ok if I breastfeed my baby along with formula feed? Baby (2 weeks old) seems hungry even after 1 hr of breastfeed

Answer:
Starting of top milk along with breastfeeding will result in baby refusing breast milk and also slowly it will reduce your milk production. So as per WHO recommendation exclusively breast feed your baby for first 6 months. This will help in healthy weight gain plus protect your baby from illness and infection. If you feel baby looks hungry, then give small frequent feeds, feed for longer time on each side and slowly you will see that satisfied look on your baby's face.
