Provide variety of foods to baby which includes - cereals and millets like ragi/wheat/ rice/ oats etc Protein foods like dals, mashed and properly cooked chicken, minced fish and egg yolk etc. Variety of fruits and vegetables should be included in diet in whichever form the baby likes. Breast Milk / Formula milk should be continued. Milk products like curd, paneer etc should also be a part of the healthy diet for 10 months old. FOOD items like oats porridge/ ragi porridge/upma/ dalia/ khichdi/soups/dals etc can be included and frequency of feeding should be 4-5 feeds/day. You can now introduce finger foods too with a healthy dip. Finger foods are bite sized , easy to eat food items. FOR EXAMPLE- boiled bite sized patato can be served with hung curd dip / hummus or Bite sized pcs of mango, paneer pc, well cooked pasta , roti bite softened with milk/dal. Babies of this age really enjoy these finger foods.
