Baby ko din mein 5 baar khana khilaye, breaskfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks. Sab ke saath chair par baitha kar khilaye. Time fix kijiye and beech mein kuch khane ko na de, nahi toh baby ko bhukh nahi rahegi, meal time par. Milk bhi 3 baar de, zyada nahi and gap rakhe 2 hours ka minimum. Ek baar mein ek hi naya food khilaye. Jab baby usse accept kar le, 3-4 din mein tab phir kuch aur naya food khilaye. Alag shape aur colour ke foods de, jaise triangle shaped roti, star shaped cutlet, different colour fruits and vegetables. Use whole milk and its products like curd, paneer, cheese, buttermilk etc. You may give these as fruit shakes/ fruit lassi. Cheese or paneer can be cut into small bite sized cubes, so that they can use their fingers to eat these. Alternatively paneer/cheese can be added to their roti/sandwich/dosa/uttapam etc. Increase intake of dals/legumes, eggs (hard boiled cut into small bite sized pieces or omlette etc.) poultry/fish (curry, snacks, cutlets, tikka, in rice or in soup). Give more of fruits like mango, banana, cheeku,litchi, grapes, dates. These may be added to their milkshakes as well. Give more of potato, sweet potato, colocassia, yam besides other vegetables. You may add these to their roti/sandwich. Nuts like walnuts, almonds, peanuts and dried fruits like raisins, currants, dried apricots.
