Most of the children join schools at the age of 2-3 yrs. are they at risk of getting frequent infections or other health issues? pls guide if it is right to delay the schooling till the child attains the age of 4 plus yrs so that the child develops sufficient immunity?

Hii Gunjan,

The right age for joining school is two and half years. This is the time when the child wants to be independent and starts exploring the world. Immunity develops gradually by acquiring natural infections called as active immunity and by vaccinations called passive immunity. It is a natural phenamenon. One should not delay school admission for this reason.  Parents should not be overprotective .
