Hi Kavita, Constipation is a common problem of pregnancy. It is mainly due to lack of fiber and fluid in the diet. Increase fiber by including foods like ragi, jowar, bajra, whole wheat, oats, beans like rajma, channa, salads (both vegetable and fruits). Drink lots of fluid mainly in the form of water, milk, milk shakes, soups etc. Eating prunes and dates also help but take them in very small amounts and only 1-2 times in a week. You can check with your doctor if you are allowed to take any natural laxative like Psyllium or Isabghol . Lastly do not worry, it will be fine.
