My 6 month old baby doesn't take top feed or top milk .....have tried all ways to make him take like bottle , sipper, with spoon. .....but he refuses all...... any suggestions plznutrition Corner
since the baby is already six months, you should start with weaning/complementary foods also. You can continue with your feed and start solids. These can meet your baby's requirement.If you are lactating sufficiently to meet your child's need, you may not start with any top feed. Otherwise, if there is need to give top feed,you can gradually start with top feed. Start by replacing one of your feeds with top feed. You can start with a lesser amount of 50 ml or so and then gradually increase the amounts according to child's acceptance. Try keeping a gap of at least two hours between any of his feeds to ensure that the baby's is hungry and accepts both milk and solid feeds.
